WE WERE TAUGHT

 

We were taught

It is the Indian Ocean's pearl.

It appears to be that way

so yes

On the globe

 

We were taught

We are so lucky to born here

Are we?

That could have happened. 

If we had great leaders

 

We were taught                              

We had great history and tech           

True, we had

Now, what do we have?

a sad tragedy

 

We were taught

Only the great history we had

Not to achieve greatness

New ideas froze and perished

Because they didn’t let them get out

 

We were taught

To be genuine

How could we?

Look around you,

Even educators are spoiled

 

We were being too dumb               

Over last 74 years

Why?

Tradition,

It didn’t evolve

 

Take a break

Think, who did this

Aren’t that we

We are responsible

For all this tragedy?

 

Admit it.

This no time for dumbness 

Country should be saved

Take part
